This very comfortable cottage is in fact the north wing of an Edwardian Former Hunting Lodge, set in 100 acres of ground. Carefully renovated in a pleasant country style and well equipped with double glazing, central heating and a cosy wood burning stove in the lounge. Popular activities are walking, golfing, fishing, horse riding and on and off road cycling in this area where nature can be viewed at its seasonal best with wildlife in abundance. This region is not only full of activity and heritage, but also acts as a fantastic base from which to explore the nearby towns and villages, with a wide range of good quality restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh, Carlisle, Newcastle and the Northumbrian coast are all within a surprisingly easy drive.
